The necessity of diversifying the service request channels by multiple digital access channels for the entity and integration with the Omanuna portal for e-government services and mobile applications as a minimum.
Use Digital Certification issued by the National Digital Certification Centre to access digital channels to avail services.
The necessity of using/harmonizing the common national central infrastructures and systems for Digital Oman to reduce expenses and raise the efficiency of the productivity of the operational infrastructure.
Commitment to list services, document business and administrative procedures of the processes in a clear and accurate manner, and put them in accordance with the approved forms for this purpose and in an e-format.
The need to re-design business and administrative procedures for services and business models and work to improve and simplify them before submitting them electronically.
Form an internal committee concerned with everything related to digital transformation that is linked to the senior official and supervises the implementation of the Government Digital Transformation Plan.
Periodically reviewing the digital transformation plan in the entity and prepare achievement reports and proposals for continuous development.
Adopt the use of ICT solutions and applications and modern technologies as a basis and priority solutions to enable the performance of all internal work and the provision of services electronically.
Commitment to provide the feature to follow the status of the service procedures and provide a monitor and follow-up screen for the progress status of operations for the beneficiaries.
Not to request any official statements/documents previously issued by any government entity, except in the rare cases.
Commitment to integrate with Digital Certification to ensure that the necessary e-transactions are signed electronically.
Commitment to alignment with national directions in the field of digital transformation and the use of e-mail in communication.
The necessity for the units of the state's administrative apparatus and entities supervising the economic and development sectors to coordinate in advance with the Ministry of Transport, Communications & Information Technology when initiating planning for the implementation of projects ,initiatives, systems, solutions and applications related to digital transformation
The commitment of all government units to the frameworks and standards regulating the operation and activation of the unified national portal for e-government services, which the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology will develop and enable as a unified national platform for government services in the Sultanate. This include the development of supporting programming engines through the employment and application of best practices and modern digital technologies and enhancing the use of shared services.
